Réva is unique in the world of bridal and evening wear. His work is inventive yet classic, edgy yet
sophisticated; it is modern with a hint of vintage. Réva juxtaposes exquisite details against texture and
colour. His designs range from soft fluid bias draped gowns echoing feminine shapes to architectural and
Réva Mivasagar grew up in Sydney, Australia. He was heralded as a new and exciting designer by the
Australian fashion industry at the age of 23 when his first collection of hand printed silks was introduced.
By the age of 26, he had opened his first flagship salon in the prestigious "Strand" Arcade in downtown
Sydney with his work being covered on a regular basis by the Australian fashion press such as Vogue, Elle,
Cosmopolitan, as well as leading newspapers. After moving to London and successfully graduating from the
famous St. Martins School of Art & Design, Réva's design abilities began to flourish and he showed during
London Fashion Week. After traveling the world he established himself in New York City as one of the new
innovators of the American Bridal Industry by opening a salon in SOHO, followed with an evening collection
carried by Bergdorf Goodman, and showing during New York Fashion Week.
Recently, Réva has opened his bridal and evening salon on Queen West in downtown Toronto, with the hopes
of bringing his vision of bridal and eveniing wear to the Canadian market. His international background and
flair for detail give his designs a unique and cosmopolitan impression.
